By all rights, Captain Commando should be more well known of a beat ’em up than it is. It’s the successor to Capcom’s own Final Fight, after all! Did not live up to its predecessor?
Also released the same month is the very unremarkable Robo Army by SNK. It’s a functional beat ’em up that has some cool robot enemies, but that’s about the best you can say for it. At least it takes place in NEO DETROIT!
