Whether you prefer the original 1989 Turtles title or this one, it can’t be denied that Turtles in Time OOZES character! From the bright backgrounds and smooth tunes of the Neon Night Riders stage, to the absolute cast of goofballs that Konami brought in as bosses, Turtles in Time has a lot to offer!
But very rarely have we looked at a game here where the home port is so clearly superior to its arcade version! The SNES game is undoubtedly more beloved, and made refinements in all the right places to remove some of the legitimately unfair and janky elements of the original arcade Turtles in Time.
